Each year in Northern Ireland another 200 babies will be born with congenital heart disease that will require the support of Children’s Heartbeat Trust. Owen is just one of these incredible children whom we have had the privilege of supporting over the last year. We’re delighted that he is able to spend his 1st Christmas at home with his family.
Unfortunately for many other families, this Christmas will be spent away from home, in hospital. This festive season Children’s Heartbeat Trust will provide practical, emotional, and financial support to more than 156 families of which over 50 will be in hospital and travelling for their child’s life saving cardiac surgery.
