Following on from previous research undertaken in CHIP studies from 2000-2004 and 2008-2010, in 2018 the charity is now funding CHIPs third longitudinal intervention study following up with patients as they enter early adulthood.
We are delighted to be funding a 3 year PhD studentship in partnership with the School of Applied Psychology, University College Cork.
Understanding outcomes across and beyond childhood. A longitudinal follow-up of children from infancy to early adulthood first registered in the Congenital Heart Disease Intervention Programme (CHIP).
Based in Belfast the research will form part of an internationally recognized longitudinal research study following a group of patients with Congenital Heart Disease from childhood into adulthood.
