What is the impact of travelling from NI to Dublin for surgery on families of infants with CHD?

We were delighted to support the research project of UCC Masters student Cailean Coffey as he explored the impact of travelling for surgery on families in Northern Ireland.

It is reassuring to note that families feel the benefits of receiving surgery in Dublin outweight the negatives, however we will also be taking the feedback regarding accommodation and financial stresses to support our work on improving these areas for heart families in NI and ROI.
