Christmas will be here before we know it and unfortunately, alongside elves on shelves and twinkling lights, local heart families can find themselves under extra financial pressure, particularly this year with a huge increase in energy bills and food costs. Our Clark Bear Christmas Appeal can supply heart families with gift cards to help towards food costs and buying Christmas presents for their children.
Last year, with your donations, we were able to help 61 local heart families to put Christmas dinner on the table and presents under the tree. This year, we are expecting the need for this invaluable support to increase greatly due to the ongoing cost of living crisis teamed with the financial stress families that have children with Congenital Heart Disease already face.
