Supporting children and young people with heart disease in Northern Ireland.

We are a children’s charity based in Northern Ireland that offers our employees the opportunity to make a real and lasting difference to the lives of children and young people living with congenital heart disease (CHD), and their families.  We are passionate about providing support to those affected by CHD and believe in delivering the highest standards of care and support to our heart families.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed individual to join our team.

Fundraising Assistant

Hours: 37.5/ week

Location: Based in Belfast, covering Northern Ireland

Fixed term contract for 2 years.

Salary: £18,562 – £18,933

Essential Requirements include:

  • 6 GCSE’s Grade C or above to include English and Maths or equivalent
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with databases

Key Responsibilities include:

    • Process donations from both online and offline sources ensuring procedures are followed and information is recorded correctly onto the charity CRM database system.
    • Assist with fundraising campaigns throughout the year including events, community fundraising, corporate fundraising, in memory and individuals giving.
    • Provide excellent donor care and support through face to face interactions, telephone, email, social media and written communications.
    • Update social media platforms, website and publications with relevant information in relation to the charity’s fundraising events and support services.
    • Collate and Record communication analytics across website and social media platforms for planning, monitoring and reporting.
