Wear Your Heart on Your Sleeve; 10 June

We ran this ‘Wear your heart on your sleeve for children with heart disease’ day for the first time last year and with 50 events taking place across Northern Ireland it was soo successful we have decided to make it an annual event! So, get involved – it’s really easy! Why not take a box of our badges to sell, organise a coffee morning, a wear red to work or at home day or encourage your child’s school/ nursery to make their own hearts on their sleeves with our easy to follow activity pack. If you have a favourite recipe and fancy it included alongside recipes from celebrity chefs such as Nick Nairns and Niall McKenna then please send it through to Lisa at titchylis@googlemail.com
Please ensure all measurements, method & cooking times are included. The recipe should be family friendly with easily obtainable ingredients.

Three speakers – Dr Nicola Doherty, Dr Andrew Sands and Dr Des Brown will be sharing new developments regarding heart disease in children. This is a great opportunity to keep up to date with what is happening and meet other families in your local area.
